DOA POLICY FOR ALL FISH AND CORAL
- Alien Reef Aquatics guarantees all fish and coral to “arrive alive”. All “DOA” (dead on arrival) claims MUST be submitted within 2 hours of receipt of the package. A detailed email sent to alienreefaquatics@gmail.com with a photo/video of the D.O.A. in the unopened bag must be taken and emailed to us within 2 hours of delivery. If the fish/coral are double bagged, the outside bag can be removed to take a better photo or video.
- Alien Reef Aquatics is not responsible for any losses due to carrier delays, mishandling, or weather, as these things are far beyond our control.
- Alien Reef Aquatics reserves the right to delay any shipment because of weather or shipping conditions that could impact the health of our fish and coral. The fish and coral health is always the most important concern for us.
- Alien Reef Aquatics will only issue refunds in the form of a credit to be used on future orders. There will be no refund on shipping charges under any circumstances.
- Alien Reef Aquatics is not responsible for any losses due to improper care. Please rest assured that we will work with you to resolve any issue that arises to the best of our ability.
SHIPPING SERVICE FOR ALL FISH & CORAL
- Orders will be shipped to the address given at checkout.
- Alien Reef Aquatics strongly recommends having your fish and coral orders held at the customer’s local UPS shipping terminal and picking them up in the early morning when they arrive. This avoids lengthy drive times by the local carrier and more travel abuse. Contact us for more information.
- Alien Reef Aquatics DOES NOT ship to the P.O. Box address.
- Alien Reef Aquatics DOES NOT ship to APO/FPO addresses.
- Alien Reef Aquatics DOES NOT refund orders that were given insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid addresses.
- Alien Reef Aquatics DOES NOT refund shipping costs for any reason.
- Alien Reef Aquatics uses UPS Overnight Shipping.
- Alien Reef Aquatics does not make shipping and packaging a profit center. We pass along the discounted rate(s) and cost of shipping materials to our customers to keep shipping costs low. Fuel surcharges will be passed along if carriers have implemented any.
- Orders containing multiple or large fish may require a larger box and additional heat or cold packs. Additional charges could apply.
- Alien Reef Aquatics does not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, or military bases.
All Dry goods will ship USPS, UPS ground, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air at the customer’s request with standard discounted rates.
